Cheers for the helpful tips Sinem! :) It’s so helpful to take a step back and look at what we’re doing in life, and each day. The alternative is to keep going full speed ahead and getting to the end of our lives and wondering WTF we were doing and realizing it wasn’t what we wanted after all…
It’s confronting to shine a light on our innermost weaknesses, our secrets, parts of us we’re not comfortable with, and want to avoid. But you’re right, doing this is an important way to work on ourselves, to be truly happy.
One way I self-reflect is through a pack of positivity cards — I pick one up each night, my husband does too, and we chat about the answers.
Another way is by rockclimbing. It forces me to confront my fears, challenges me to work on my weaknesses, gets me outside my comfort zone, and is an incredible mind-body-soul experience :)
