Great insights Kat! :) Agree with all of it. Never tried couch surfing, but I imagine that would be an awesome experience (most of the time!). Lol

One of the things I’m glad about now that I’m in my late 30s is that I lived in a few countries and backpacked heaps before I had a family. It has given me so much perspective, independence, and confidence. Not to mention the incredible people and crazy, funny, cool experiences along the way.
