There’s so much shouting (mostly about themselves) we switch off by deleting emails without opening them, ignore banner ads, and unfollow FB pages…
If businesses can be more thoughtful and friend-like, they’d actually take time to understand what will make a customer’s life better and consistently create ways to help. Without blatantly shoving products and services in our faces all the time.
It takes longer to build a long term relationships…but the ROI is loyal, repeat customers who will spread the word.
Then there would be less attention combat — caring makes them stand out.
