Hey Conor, really great insights here. It’s tempting to get caught up in stats and trying to figure out what will get a lot of claps and comments. But focusing too much on that can be demoralizing.

Like you, I’ve found Medium an incredible way to write what resonates. I am so grateful when anyone reads what I write, no matter who. It’s such an honour! It’s awesome we have access to a platform with established audiences.

You make a really important point that our inputs affect output. I find even being more present during the day can inspire ideas.

Having a strong why is a great way to push through, especially when I’ve spent a lot more time and effort on a post than usual. It really does help to remember that even if just 1 person reads it, it is a bonus. The act of writing itself is beneficial. The awareness we get from it is priceless.
