Hey James, it’s great that you were encouraged to question and understand things. I think there should be more people like you that do that.

I think the environment you’re in makes a difference. Whether it’s supportive of questioning rather than simply accepting.

I remember my mum used to question Catholicism, and she got shut down a lot by family who were Catholic. And encouraged to explore by others who were not but wanted to ‘convert’ her.

I honestly don’t know what types of arguments atheists put out there. I just know many people who follow and don’t think they should question. Just accept their beliefs as faith.
