Hey John, why is it that the simplest things are often the hardest to do? :)

It’s so true. No matter what we acquire, it never seems to satisfy for long, before we’re onto the next thing.

To be content is much more long-lasting. I think this is more of a challenge for us especially living in a society that blurs the concepts of contentment with happiness.

It’s easy to think we’re content by doing more and having more.

I think it’s much harder to stop and look deep inside ourselves to figure out what really matters. What contentment looks like for us. And perhaps that’s why many people don’t realize what it is and keep doing stuff and getting more stuff that really doesn’t mean that much.

John, great piece, fascinating stories, and wow, love your incredibly detailed and clever drawings :) Thank you for sharing! :)
