Hey Noma, such a great topic. Relationships can definitely work even when a woman has a child — or vice versa. I have a few friends who have kids and new partners, and they are really happy. I also have other friends who are single and prefer not to deal with someone else’s kids. They are not in the right stage of life for that. It really depends on the individual, and the couple. And what works for them.

Noma if you come across guys that don’t want to know you because you have a child, hun they are not the ones for you. Like your amazing friend, you are precious and your worth is not dependent on your child. A good man will see that and value you for who you are — and if he is at the right stage of life and frame of mind to entertain the idea of a child at some stage, then it could work…
