Hey Tina, you’re right there are pros for both. And I felt like you with my elder brother, though the age gap wasn’t too big.

Yes there are many varied types of relationships in different families. I see that closeness in some big families, and yes, also where there’s a lot of in-fighting and nastiness. I guess the point I wanted to make is for people not to judge — and to reassure parents with only 1 child of the benefits so we aren’t made to feel guilty or selfish.
