Hey Zat, what a wonderful post :) It’s true and quite ironic that despite being more connected that ever, many people are more lonely than ever.

I think this happens because we have so much to busy ourselves with. So much to do, so many people to see. And technology has become woven into our lives so that we’re never truly alone. And when we are we’re not used to it, so avoid it. I think many people are afraid of their own thoughts. Afraid to find out who they are. It’s much easier to be what other people want. Do what society expects. Go on auto-pilot.

It’s much harder to be honest, to connect deeply with our true selves.

But as you’ve discussed, truly connecting with ourselves changes the way we view the world. It changes the way we view other people. And it affects the way we connect with others.

Really enjoyed your insights, thank you for sharing Zat! :)
