Kaia, really important post. So much of what we know about love is from the people around us and how we grew up. You’re right, this causes such confusion and a disconnect about who we really are.
This is great food for thought. And a challenge for us all. It’s especially relevant to me as a parent, as I look at how I want my daughter to grow up. I am that person that will shape her childhood and in many ways, her adulthood.
