Yes definitely a style guide would help. Though it's still tricky for people to follow, people don't seem to look at style guides as much as they probably need to!

Hey what sort of examples have you come across for headline style guides?

They're typically not as detailed as they could be. A few of ours include using sentence case, minimal punctuation, using keywords to start headings, and clear and short headlines.
