This point stands out for me. It’s amazing how easy it is to wish we had other people’s success - yet we often don’t delve deeper inside ourselves to figure out if we really do want it.

I reckon many of us have success envy superficially but if we had the will to succeed we would actually take steps to make it happen. And be committed and consistent in our efforts. That’s hard to do. It means making changes we may not be willing to make.

Also we have limited energy and time so need to hone in. We can’t succeed at everything.

It helps to be intentional with what we want in life and understand what success means to us. It’s likely different from what it means to someone else. By knowing what matters to us and working at it, we’re more likely to genuinely feel happy for someone else’s success because we’ll understand and respect the efforts to get there.

Cheers for sharing this piece G. It’s a great topic and you’re covered it well ☺ xo
