Truly agree with you on this. I think the pain of the process actually makes the outcome better. Though it is still tough to look forward to that pain.

What bothers me here is this: why should I hate some parts of the process and only look forward to the outcome? Why do I get to tout the benefits of getting better at a skill and hate the process of getting better at it?
